F'in A I need a job...

why does a single person need to make 52k a year? maybe texas is different but 50k a year jobs starting off are hard to come by for people without degrees. hell my dad was at Ford's for 30 years and was making $26/hr when he retired after 30 years, but the big 3 isn't hiring anymore //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Why? for pleasure and I feel that I am worth that. I saved Comp 1.5 mill a year with the process I setup for microsoft.

I also consistantly saved them hundreds of thousands each quarter by pushing for better servise from our carriers. Basically, Fedex and Southwest freight were my *****...but I loved them for what they would let me accomplish.

I know that I am a smart person that thinks. I dont have to be told what to do. I do my job and look around to improve anthing and everything that I can. Its just in my nature. Therefor, I feel that I am worth atleast what I was making if not the $25 I want.

i see what your saying but if you need to make 50k to support your lifestyle for a single person, you maybe living outside your means. i'm saying nowhere in michigan atleast, is any company starting out at 50k a year with only a high school diploma. only the auto makers but they sure as shit aren't hiring.

Have you tried the gaylord texan?

GL dude //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I know costco and sams pay like upwards of ~11, but thats half of what you want lol.

And I see what you are saying. I dont NEED to make 50k, its what I want. I can be more then happy with what I was making. I am not sure if I can live with less then that. I am being taken care of with rent. If I didnt have my parents I would be ****ed. I dont know...I know what I am worth and what I deserve.

I just need to get a call back.

On an upnote, after I left this thread earlier today I got a call from a contact in Fedex. I may be going to work for them.

Ill be there in august for the Bears/Texans pre-season game..

Cool, but I am serious. Move back to H-town lol.

i agree, if you cant do well single at 50k a year you are doing something wrong.

hell me and the gf made less than that last year, and we pretty much did what we wanted, and saved a bit of cash.

oh and i pay $800 in rent, + monthy utilities, + cable/telephone/internet, insurance, gas and the rest of the norm.
