How to power home audio speakers for computer speakers?

No idea where else to put this...

I’ve got a set of Seas L18RNX that are likely going to be put up or sold. I was thinking, however, about trying to use them along with some tweeters as a set for my computer.

I have no idea how I would do this though (the wiring and all). What would it entail? I already have a pretty decent sound card with 5.1 out. Just not sure how I would power them? Would it be reasonably cheap to do this?

Help a computer audio newb? Links will be fine. of course, I'd prefer someone giving me a couple sentences worth of explanation. Thanks, all.

FWIW, I’d like to run the set active and use a program that will allow me control of processing. Someone here uses a program like this for their car PC but I can’t find it.

Is it as simple as finding a 4-channel amplifier for the house and running RCA's to this?

easy, what i did was find a cheap receiver, all you really need is some old sony or pioneer you cand find cheap on ebay, run the headphones jack out or get one of these http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/micro/home.aspx (like I had to do because I broke my headphones jack), get a miniplug to rca adapter and plug it into your receiver. You may want to find one with a subwoofer out so you can add a plate amp in the future
