i also suggest trying to work for the state. it probably won't be the pay you are looking for, but i'm currently in the process of trying to land a job for the state of michigan. pay is usually pretty good, benifits are great, and you get paid holidays, and here they help pay for your college, so you may not start at $25/hr but you can work up, and when you add benifits, it isn't a bad job. also job security is pretty good working for the government
