x2If you have $24k in a bank account you are so **** dumb I don't know what to say.
What location in SA do you work at?well i think 800 a week would be good for someone who may not have much experience. i mean i been in the undustry for awhile and came over to http://www.customsounds.com and pull about 4k a month after taxes.
To be honest, he might be telling the truth. Custom Sounds is crazy expensive. I took my vehicle there one time to have them test the amp while it was still in the vehicle because my speakers were not working. Two hours later and the manager was trying to charge me $300. I asked him what the F did they do, install some new stuff? He went into this break down of what they did and the cost. I told him I would pay $75 and that was it. I did not ask them to work on it for two hours, I only wanted them to test the amp. He agreed and asked me to never come back....LOLEven if that guy is for real. The chances of someone pulling in 800 a week installing is slim to none. A master installer maybe, but not joe nobody at circut city. I am not good enough to go work at a custom shop, and even then, all the guys I know there dont make shit.
$4k a month after taxes...That is more then $60k a year. I dont quite believe it. You may, but I doubt it.
yea, im still waiting on that response as well. im happy about the gatorade complex, especially since aep/pso got the electric contract for it. the guys that own it came down a while back and took a look at our facility. was an interesting day. either way that = $$$ for us.I am still trying to figure out the "economical depression" comment in Oklahoma. Hell, since January, 4 or 5 huge companies have announced they are moving here.
Gatorade is moving here...Google is building a massive facility here...umm...some insanely huge publishing company is building a complex. In all truth, business is booming in Oklahoma, especially around Tulsa.
Companies are paying good money for half *** workers because that is all that is left. Pretty much all of the decent workforce has been sucked up into good paying jobs with great benefits.
Right now i am getting paid $15/hr to run an Okuma lathe, in a climate controlled shop with T.Vs in the shop so we don't miss any sports or whatever.
i have 1 high yield CD with Ing which matures in 4 months. also have and Ing account where my checking/savings gets %4.85, also have a mutual fund thru fidelity....so i do have enough invested in my portfoliox2
That shit should be invested instead of wasted on crap savings interest.
you can also make $18/hr as an installer for a Toyota Plant supplier here in san antonio. full benefits and automotive discounts...i know i passed it up.
i work as a journeyman pretty much, so all of them. BTW my cousin Ben Pedroza is an engineer at Toyota plant, i got the interview and i was offered 17/hr...my buddy Sam wound up getting hired for 18/hr so first hand experience of the hiring process is better than second hand info. the varying shifts just doesnt fit my school scheduleI'm pretty sure starting pay at Toyota was closer to $15. There was a lot of people saying it was between $18-$20 but that was not the case, just hype. I have a friend who just left there (supervisor) and that's what he told me. Toyota does give a $00.50 raise every 6 months not based on performance.
You didn't answer my question as to what Custom Sounds location you work at here in SA.
How the hell am I supposed to know who Ben Pedroza is? Is that supposed to make it sound more believable? What section were you going to work in, maybe that is the difference in the pay scale. Were you going to be just a line man or have a crew under you? My friend was a supervisor in the paint section and his peoples starting pay was $15ish.i work as a journeyman pretty much, so all of them. well i would be working as a tinter, accesory installer at toyota...from my buddy sam i understand its just like working at a dealership and the managers dont hassle you. sounds pretty easy. Yes, their scheduling sucks from what I hear. They can come to you Friday afternoon and tell you that you are working Saturday. You cannot even use the restroom w/ out asking first and then getting someone to relieve you on the line. It is a great job if you don't feel like ever thinking or solving any type of problems.
The next time you are at the San Pedro location, tell them bastards that they owe me a speaker grill from the last time they worked on my vehicle!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
