Few SI MAG 12'' Questions

So the 12 will not have a "tighter, punchier" bass? Everything i have read has told me this about 12 vs 15's.
Also does anyone have some basic measurements for a 3 cu^3 sealed box just so i can see how much space it will take up?

i don't know where you were reading this info but that is total myth. my mag was in a 3.2 net ported box and the external measurements i believe were 33" wide 17" tall, 18" deep. the side lengths can very greatly to get 3 cubes.

My mag 12 is in a large sealed box on 600rms. It loves it.

Had a pair in 2.4ish cubes tuned in the high 30's and hit a 149.6

...and our 15's are just as accurate as our 12's are. You loose NO accuracy going to a 15.

I hate you guys for telling me this, now i have to get a 15 and loose more money and trunk space! Should i run the 15 at 1000rms as well off the Massive Audio p1000.1 or will it require more power to go bangity bang.

Yes, 1000rms at 1 ohm is PERFECT for a mag 15.

If you feel it's too much money and space stick with the twelve, you'll probably still end up happy at the end of the day.

After looking in my trunk and actually measuring out the box for the 15, ive decided to go with the 12. I all ready drive a small car and the box would take up 2/3 of my trunk. The 12's box is only a 3rd as big...oh well...
