I just think hes stupid for referencing the prohormones gave him like 15lbs of gains in like 3 weeks. And from past posts I know he has been working out for a bit. Either those PHs are making him retain A TON of water weight or somethings just wrong..lol..PS - Dave you're still dumb for going on prohormonesDon't need crazy supplements like that, OR to f*ck with your hormone levels and liver. Trust me, I'm almost a doctor/pharmacist.
haha
Good job on doing more than your weight!good job mang.. I beeen toying with getting in shape.. I am a fatty too and weigh 280, but he'll i weighed 260 when i went into high school.. so 20lbs in 6yrs isnt bad IMO.. my point is, i have always been a Big guy.. had a belly, but can carry the weight well.. My goal is 240lbs, i just cant seen to get motivated and start the diet.. and working 45+ hours every week isnt really giving me much motivation to workout every day.. I havent worked out regulary since high school.. so late 2006.. but i hit the weights wit my younger brother every now and then.. to my suprise Saturday i Benched 300lbs, after doing 185lbs for a set of 15..
Is higher not always better? I get my heart rate up to 180, sometimes 190.Just a TIP from an 8 credit hour short exercise science major / physical education. Its not how hard you work out on the elliptical / run. Its where your heart rate is.... Fat is burned almost entirely from a different energy system.
For weight loss
take 220 - (your age)
(take that total) x .60-.65
= the range you want your heart rate range when doing cardio. This will burn the most fat.
Take me for example
220-23 = 197
197 x .60 = 118
197 x .65 = 128
If i wanted to lose the most weight per workout, that is where my HR would be. (118-128 beats per minute)
Any other questions let me know.
NO. You will burn more calories with a higher heartrate, BUT you burn the mostIs higher not always better? I get my heart rate up to 180, sometimes 190.
Well, I'm going for weight loss and cardiovascular health. Today I did an hour of HIIT, roughly around 185 in my peaks and 165 in the lows. I'm 5'7", 185 lbs.NO. You will burn more calories with a higher heartrate, BUT you burn the most (40% more) fat calories sticking within that range.
Simply the body burns 3 energy sources during exercise. If your goal is weight loss, stick within that fat buring range. Hence why machines are options for weight loss etc.....and tells you the range that you should be in. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
