False Floor Build help , tips and guide welcome- First time build

I have a ford focus 2008 SE 4 door.

Im building a false floor to mount my amps under my box.

I have figured out that the floor will be raised about 2" with .5" ply deck.

questions

Should I dynamat the trunk and wheel well first ?

Should I screw the peices of 2x2" down to the trunk with angle brackets ?

any help in construction tips would be apreciated.
