Enclosure build for 1993 Dakota

im curious to see what it looks like in the truck. My dad has a 93 i think, i guess you call it first gen, and im waiting for it to break so i can scoop it up. My sister drives it and it went from a 100% working great looking truck to a peice of beat ****. Broke mirror off, front end out of alignment from her poor driving/hitting curbs, pass door doesnt open, cig lighter doesnt work, full of trash inside etc. He said he wont put money into it so im waitin for it to blow up so i can put a V8 in.

Nice box though.

Ya I love My Dakota. it is relatively easy to work on and was not to hard to put a set up in. Her is a pic of my first box

It is an alright box. It was the first box i ever designed and built, was having to learn as i went. If Pioneer~Saturn reads this he can puton some pics of the box completed( I had him take the pics and never got them from him...lol)

I am tryin man... The real hold up is getting parts in... UPS *****... i got a package in yesterday of a part i need and there was a big hole in the side and the part was missing so i have to wait more.

OK I got some more work done aver the last week

Got the port inside the box glued in.

through some resin on the rest of the port for the hell of it...lol

Got the top panels cut

fitted and glued the bottom top plate in and clamped in place

also got the BEAST in. A 2"x0.75"x12" 7lb bar of copper which i plan to make my own distro blocks from( I got sick and tired of yousing stinger and other companies distro blocks)//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I plan to get the top top plate glued on today and maybe fet some other work done.

Ok havent had much time to work on my box but here is what i got done the last week.

Dropped the top and glued it on...lol just a few claps and weights

Rounded the port over and put a little paint on it

threw some screws in the top

cut some panels for the amp rack

Glued the amp rack together

Using these threaded inserts to attach the amp rack

Hopefully i will get a decent amount of work done this week
