Kerf's are the fancy curves lol. OP it seems like it would be a waste to add in all that kerfing but not even drop a 45 in the port. Are you going to route out the excess behind the wall where that outer kerf is?

Ah sorry I missed the sketchup of it. And I mean where you have that outer kerf on the left, are you going to cut off the excess bottom/top pieces or leave it there?

Mmkay just checking lol. Should look really nice when it comes out. What do you use for a rule of thumb in cutting the kerfs?
