anyone run these?

im building a wall in the jeep and i was going to run 10 10s off my sundown 3000d, but thats pushing it for space (surface area to actually mount the subs)....

so i thought about 8s...well any decent 8 is like 50+ dollars so for that i might as well stick with the 10 10s.

then i came across these

http://www.edesignaudio.com/product_info.php?cPath=1_21&products_id=33

what would like 32 of these sound in a clam/diamond?

should i run these sealed or ported?

my goal is a system that gets LOW, and gets loud while playing that low. i want to move a TON of air. i know this can be done with less subs/less money but i think that many 6.5s would be kinda cool. theres a scion and a tahoe that did 32 of these too (not walled)

they have an Fs of 28hz so that should be good as well.

this is just an idea at this point...ive already started the wall though (not the front panel yet as i dont know if its gonna be a normal wall or a diamond/clamshell)

discuss.

two ported (old eu's that is) in my mustang does a nice job of filling in the bottom end and getting my mirror dancing a bit. Oh yeah, in my convertible.

The low end (sub 35 hz) isn't quite as strong, but with 32 of them, it would be more than filled in.

I love the idea because it is unique and NO ONE ever expects it. I wish I would have had the opportunity to hear Chris's tC, but supposedly it was dumb loud with each woofer only getting something like 1/4 of the rated watts. It was posted somewhere I think.......

you DEFINITELY want to do them ported though. World of difference.

Yea I mainly wanna do it becuase people will be like "wtf" lol..

I have my 2 18" mts I could throw in, but that shit is so common now a days.. I remember a few yrs ago when 18s were more rare, and walls too. Now everyone and their mother is running walls with 18s lol.

and those cones are the ***. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif and if you invert some...get those chrome motors showing. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

just do the math. You may need to do some eQing if you are looking for 25Hz response, but I think with all that cone area you'll be fine.

if my math serves me right, your looking at about DOUBLE the cone area of 2 18's by going with the 32 6.5's......
