dont want a sub anymore what rear fill can i replace with?

as the title states..i need to get rid of my sub..id rather just have a components in the front and something in the rears..what do you guys recommend?

hahaha ill end up selling it. but it's just to much weight in my truck and i can feel the difference in the handling of my car. but any ideas?

look for some 6x9" ir 8" subs that you can fit in your rear deck and work well infinite baffle

Let me get this straight...you're giving up decent subbass reproduction and a correct soundstage to lose subbass output and distort the imaging? Might I ask why?

well yes i know im going to give up subbass and distort imaging...but it seems that every time that i drive i can feel the rear end more than i should and it effects the way i drive..plus weiight of the car is very important to me. the sound is AWESOME..but need to have a balance =(

I totally agree. I had 2 12's and a big *** amp...I took that all out, and I have a set of decent 6x9's and an 8" sub + 300W RMS amp...if the amp could stay cool it would be perfect. Once I get my front midbass situation together it'll be perfect.

Big stereos are overrated IMO...I'm going for OEM-style SQ...

i thought about the 2 8's but the ones i want are still to heavy..the only smal subs i was really considering..was the jl 6's. i was wondering..cause you run a sub open air? or you think i can run those subs possibly off an infinite baffle?
