I had problems with mine over heat and it would not eject cd players and i had it only for about a year.
It's not just hot swapping them, but if they touch any metal I believe. Pioneer should fix it because it seems to be something pretty easily overcome.Never did that:wow:
they are, have their discontinued model, 3 way active crossover, oel screen, 5v preouts. its a beast, only thing i hate is that there are no front or rear crossovers, unless you run active.Ya from what I have heard there starting to come up in quality.
If you do a search you will find ALOT of Eclipse horror stories. I read a thread over on termpro when I was looking into Eclipse about a shop recieving a shipment of dead units. Every company has horror stories so its really just preference. I will never use a Pioneer again because of the shipping and noises (never even had RCA's) ran to it and a straight swap to a panasonic fixed everything. I'll be sticking with my panasonics until they start crapping out.Eclipse owns all...try to find an eclipse horror story cuz i havent...i love my 7000
