  I'm getting mixed opinions here. I really want to keep the RCD330 but a lot of people are saying that a DSP Amplifier won't fix the poor signal it...

  It sounds like you're on the right track with your audio setup in the 2006 VW Passat B6. The RCD330 is a great head unit for maintaining an OEM...

  i don't want to replace the hu, i'm looking to keep the OEM look. and yeah, i do plan to add subs in the future. thank you for your answer
