different Voltage in the same setup. WHY ?

I have Kinetik 1800 and Kinetik 600.

PAC Isolator is between them.

The main is 1800 and the 2nd is 600. The 600 reads 13.6v but the 1800 reads 12.8v

Why is that.

its the iso bro. just put a circuit breaker and flip it off when the car sits for the night

Or just nix it altogether...fuse properly and if you use your remote wire correctly you won't have any problems

Get rid of the isolator, connect the batteries together. Done.

i don't think its the Isolator; Cuz the main batt is reading 12.8v which is near to ALT .. but the 2nd is 13.6v

maybe because i charged the 2nd batt. but did n't charge the main one.

Tried to charge it by the cars electrical . but nothing happend.

how do u suggest to charge it.

if i kept the car on for 2 hours. it will not charge the batt.??

only time i recommend a isolator is when you are like my little brother. he plays his stereo about half volume for long periods with the truck turned off. out in the woods at bonfires and ish. the isolator keeps his starter battery from going dead while hes playing it with the truck not running.

usually a rested good battery will be showing 12.7+volts.

I mean there is no need to flip it on/off if you connected the remote wire correctly and the amp shuts off with the head unit
