So how much rms do you think a pair of DD 2515s could take in a daily setup. I know the site says 800 each...so ~ 1600 for the pair...what do you guys think?

They should be able to handle a 2500 watt amp for the pair for daily.

one guy at a comp had 2 10's in a jimmy dont know what power but he did a 147db on the TL

very good subs, though I have only seen one for sale on the forums that I recall..recently. I'd pick them up if I had a use for them lol.. look nice for what they are.

yea I got the pair for $350 shipped....should be here Tuesday //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. Can anyone help with a box too lol? I know DD's rec box is about 4 ft tuned to about 40 hz for one...I think 40 hz is way too high so I was thinking something like 7.5-8 ft tuned to like 32?

Try the DD box recommendations but, lengthen the port to ~22" instead of 16".

~1500w is fine on them, but they can handle a good bit more.

I just did 2 2515's in a customers Suburban a few weeks ago. Did 8cuft w/ the 22" port ~16sq per cube. We ran that on a DD M2 and it was DAM nice. Alot stronger lows that you would think given the "on paper tuning".

We also have a pair of 2515's w/ CF on my co-workers truck.

Its a 4 door Ram w/ 2 DD M1a's strapped at 1ohm.

Now, I wouldn't recommend that kind of power on them for the average Joe...but if you REALLY now how to watch the subs its fine.

i've ran a pair on a DD z1a so i guess they were seeing between 2500 3000 each....pretty sweet subs...

for daily :S!?!? or are you just talking burps.... I was gonna throw about 1k each at them but since I haven't bought an amp yet I was looking to get a 2500 @ 1 ohm.
