Honestly, the subs are the wrong impedance for the amp. Not what most want to hear, but I suggest to sell the amp and find one that will put out the needed power at 1-ohm or 4-ohm, as those are your two realistic impedance options. That’s a 2-ohm minimum amp and that is not an option with a pair of D4 subs. Or, sell the subs and buy a pair of D2's so you can wire them to 2-ohm. I think aiming for a different amp is the better choice as the Skar SDR subs look like they will work decent enough, and the Power Acoustik amp is not that great and also not enough power anyway aside from being 2-ohm minimum.
I'm sure at some point someone will find this thread and swear they have been running the amp below rated and it's a monster that can do it 24/7 365 in 120 degree summer weather But still vote for a better amp and you would be much happier with a real 1500w 1-ohm amps performance.
Dual Skar SDR 12 d4s wired to 1 or 4 ohms have a thermal limit of 1200 watts. So even if you could use that amp, it's about 66% underpowered right off the bat. Sooooo many amplifiers out there that do 1500-2000 watts at 1 ohm, and they won't break the bank.
