for all those gear heads.

my family runs in the 9.0 1/4 mile TE (top eliminator) class. the first pick is me racing it with our 10 second 468 motor. its a 16 foot texas tunnel drag boat. we are currently putting together a 632, dart block, crower rods/ crank, dart pro 1 heads, 2x dominators / dry sub system, evac system....etc that motor will do over 1200+ on gas and if we did spray it mildly 200 shot, we would run low low 8's and only 140mph or so. we had a 588 but spun a bearing and kicked a rod out the block...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

last image is dads friend, he has ran a 7.50 @ 145mph with alot of spray.....thats FAST

Fuggin awesome! His 318 did not like 1bar too much. After 3months of heavy driving, he was able to look through the combustion chamber inside the water jackets. I don't think he ever found a piece larger than a penny of the rod or piston. The 360 cracked a piston skirt after a few months boosted, and now, he has the 408.

dbhittin, all motor, all day every day, and mid 10's from a 302 in a truck sounds hard pressed. Got any slips or video? For a 10s 302 all motor, he has to have an insane CR. High CR and daily driving = uhm, no fun.

i don't even buy it with a 302 all motor. unless you mean all motor and a T88 or something insane. i just don't see it as the older smaller nissan trucks didn't have much room in the engine bay did it?

either way, that dakota is fast as fock. just by looks i'd want to say it's a 02'ish 4.7L? i only wanted 13's outta my dakota lol

1997. Started with a 318, then 360, now 408

And I am not saying his friend is not doing so, I am just asking for a little more information.

callin bullshi t on that one huh? lol... i bet what ever money u have... i can provide a vid anytime and pics and time slips.. he also has a 11sec datsun 210 with a v6... i didn't say what was done to the 302 either.. also add 150shot in there too.. but still pretty good.. his buddy has the same nissan hardbody with a 383 and runs 10's too all motor, no nos

i'll stickto slips or bs. nothing against you it's just hard to buy an all motor 10's daily driven truck. that dak is 11's and barely that and rickyj said it was still hard to drive.

No bets necessarry, just wanting to know how a 10second all motor 302 is a dd, and for any type of proof. A video would be awesome.

What type of chassis and suspension work has he done? Ladder bars or a four link?

The dak is easy to drive, just really lopey, cranky when it's cold and every once in a while the tb needs cleaned out. I was saying a high CR engine is not something you want to drive everyday on the street.

that was sum of last year and the year before.. the 210 had the z24 4cyl motor in it at that time and the best time they got was a 12.5 last season.. in that vid, i think he gets 13.1... the truck has a 302 bored to a 306 and i think the best time he gets in that vid is upper 10's... they drive them almost everyday..

88-96 daks have it better than 97-04 daks, lighter by about 400-500 pounds. all other things being equal, the gen IIs have that edge over the gen IIIs. therefore yours is likely faster than my 3.9er //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
