D1 or D2 sub?

Dual 1 ohms or dual 2 ohms voice coils. Which would be best for my amp; Soundstream Rubicon 702. Specs say 700W RMS X 1 at 2 and 4 ohms bridged.

I dont beleive it would really matter as long as you wire them in series and not parallel.

I'd go with D2 and run the amp at 4 ohms if it were me.

What are the pros/cons of running in parallel vs series? How about the pros/cons of having a final load of 4 vs 2 ohms?

Are you running 1 or 2? If just one, get a D2 and wire in series. If the amp truly makes the same power at either load, you might as well use it at the higher impedance, if for no ther reason, to keep it running cooler.

Yes only one sub. So a D2 in series for a final load of 4 ohms at 700W RMS. Thanks.
