CVR vs Type-R

I had the sensitivity thing backwards, hard to keep focused on this crap, hopes this help though:
Sensitivity

Also referred to as efficiency (measured as SPL — sound pressure level), this specification is quoted in decibels (dB). The higher the number, the more efficient the subwoofer is at turning amplifier power into sound, and the louder it plays. A subwoofer rated 3 dB more than another will require only half the power to produce the same output.
isnt the sensitivity on the 2 subs about the same. What I see is a 3/10ths of a db difference.

Adding onto the built better, bigger magnet more power. I used to have a SE which many people say handled 800 watts, big magnet pretty heavy. There are a lot of subs out there that will get Louder than that thing because it is a SQ driver. So this relates to this subject because from what I know, the Type Rs are sq or sql drivers. From first hand experience I know that SQ drivers can get lots of power and have great SQ but probably wont get as loud as some other subs that require less subs and we can say that they are SQL/SPL subs.

Acutally I wasn't pointing out any typos, I was laughing that you think the surround is related to the xmax, but I guess it's easier to just call you an idiot.
Xmax, I mean linear excursion, xmax and the excursion...blah blah blah...little fudgeups.****@#$5

"# Linear Excursion (X linear) : 19.1mm

# Maximum Excursion (X peak) : 22mm"

Yeah, it has to do with linear excursion, the xmax is the maximum excursion but with the surround it allows the linear excursion to reach closer to the xmax.....blah...blah...blah, same ballpark.

I realized I have said xmax numerous times however I know what Im' talking about, I do mean the linear excursion...the surround does allow for a higher linear excursion thus increasing the SPL...I really need to goto bed.

Everthing fits in nicely now...sorry for the mix ups but trying to argue a point with several people has taken a lot out of me.

Its more of an SQL, because doesn't really favor a sealed or ported box which gives it numerous applications.

"You can see how far they really move... the vid cuts to a QUICK shot of 2 subs in the car not yet all the way up moving one plastic bag in the window... then the score (not the loudest of the night - 147.9) with 2 subs... then a quick flash of one sub at full tilt moving a bag."

"they are btw, tuned to 30hz, burping at 42hz for the 147.9 - this is in the trunk of a monte carlo with 1200 watts"

"http://www.realmofexcursion.com/videos/Alpine/typer12.1.wmv " Small sealed enclosure, I'll look around some more. Maybe a 12" ported.

I've seen the Type R in the Alpine box and I've seen the CVR 05. I have seen BOTH(in person) of them within 2 weeks of each other. Type R at tweeter, CVR in that guy's Monte Carlo. To me it seemed the CVR was MUCH louder but the Type R had better sq. I'd say CVR kills it in SPL though. Maybe it was jsut because I heard two W6V2s in a sweet box right before I heard the Type R, and that messed up my judgement, but i doubt it.
