Crossover setting on HU (Kenwood ddx771)

Hey quick quick Q everyone.. The subwoofer LPF filter setting on the head unit is it suppose to be full range? And only set LPF at the amps? I've tried all the settings and really don't hear any audible change but, sorta sounds better (bassier) at 100hz on the HU.

One or the other Mike (lol). I like to set mines at the hu.
