Crossover point

Alright, let me first say that I am new to the active thing, and I don't really wanna be wrecking stuff. I'm undecided on where to crossover my tweeters. I did a search on the site, and the general idea was to take the FS and double it. I have a pair of Hertz MLK 165s and the FS is 950 if I'm not mistaken. For some reason, and don't ask me why, but I believe this to be high (even though not a whole lot of other tweeters will go that low). I've done a little fooling around, and I prefer a retardedly low crossover point. I'm running about 60 watts to each tweeter and it seems to be plenty for these guys. What are your guys' suggestions?

if the FS is 950 you can cross as low as 2k/12db. which is actually really low. i'd say to start around 2.5k or so. try all kinda of different slopes as well, both steep and shallow. if the mid and tweets are close then there will be no problem at all with using steep slopes, meaning you can cross the tweets pretty low.

try all different kinds of points and slopes but i'd say that 2k/12db is the absolute lowest you can safely go with moderate power.
