Crossover location

I own a GMC Sierra Extended cab. When I put new components in the doors, I'll most likely be running the passive crossovers. I was considering mounting the crossovers on the amp rack I make to hang on the back wall behind the rear seat, and then run the wires up to the speakers.

So, the basic question is does it make any difference which is the short run... amp to crossover or crossover to speakers?

you'll just have longer runs of both tweet and mid wires.

Ive seen lots of installs with the crossovers in the back. You'll be fine, just use quality shielded wires.
