Could tinsel lead on sub snap during shipping?

I just read on his for sale topic someone didnt recieve a sub they brought from him.They had to file a paypal claim. Im gonna check these subs with a dmm asap to make sure the other one is "mint".

when repairing the tensile....remember that its a certain length for a reason. by having it break and re soldered it is now a slightly shorter length. compensate for this length by bending the terminal posts in just a tad to make up for this lost length. otherwise the tensile will be too short and snap a lot quicker than you'd think. other way to do it would get more tensile and completely replace the wire by removing the dust cap and re solder directly to the voice coil leads

If he's never done it before, he's probably going to screw it up. (No offense, just saying.)

Even if he gets the dustcap off and puts in a new lead instead of just ghetto rigging it and resoldering the tinsel, he'll have to get a new dustcap to replace it and it probably won't look as good as when it's new from the factory.
