Copmuter sub...quick question

So I'm replacing my POS Dell copmuter speakers so far I've got everything I need but I'm workin on the sub. I'm pretty set on getting the tangband 8 and the Bash digital 300W plate amp, both from parts express. The combo looks promising at least to me, but what about the box? Ported or sealed? Is just for music and the occasional game, so could i get away with a small sealed? Or should I go all out with a ported tuned pretty low? Suggestions? Thanks.

i dont think ive ever seen a sealed HT sub, even the prefabs, but doesnt mean it cant be done.. i dont see why u would to though, u lose output!

I figuered the same reason someone might go sealed in the car...sq, and i thought low ends were better in a sealed setup, correct me if i'm wrong.

Go to a high end home audio store before saying something like that nissanrider. You will pay 3k for a Martin Logan sealed subwoofer.
