compact sub selection for soundstream ref1.500 amp

I have a Ford F350 and am wanting to replace the factory sub/amp. I have owned several sounstream reference 1.500 amplifiers and so I bought another one. I am now having trouble on what Sub to pair it with.

I am looking at the Alpine SWR T12 and The JL 13Tw5v2-2

the alpine seems to have the best reviews but is only available in 4 ohm. It is the Sub I am wanting to go with. Will the loss of power due to higher impedance give me less bang for my buck than the JL at 2 ohm? I have read that once the music hits and the sub starts moving the impedance is all over the place anyways, The amp states it is either a 2ohm or 1 ohm amplifier, no ratings are given for a 4 ohm subwoofer.
