CCA vs Copper speaker wire

I wish I would've got ofc but I was young and eager and excited to be buying audio gear ended up getting 150 ft of CCA and its still bnib on the spools. Wish I wouldve bought skyhigh or welding cable or maybe some of that explosive audio wire that stuff looks nice

Skyhigh^ I see this all the time with their wire.. U can cut 2ft off and the wire is still all corroded up farther too

And people be like that only happens if the wire is exposed to moisture... Well duh what do you think happens in your trunk? Or in your truck. The weather changes all the time and it gets humid and damp and there's going to be moisture. Just buy good wire from the get go so you don't have that problem

welding wire, i have some tspec it's really nice but expensive

well we're talking about speaker wire, doesn't really matter tbh. just use a larger gauge cca than you would ofc. if you're running a bunch of speakers pro audio at a low load on a big *** amp amp then you should start considering the necessity of ofc for speaker wire
