Pioneer DEH 1300MP Cutting Out/Shorting Out?

I have a Pioneer DEH 1300MP that I have had in my car for about three years now. Recently it has been shorting out to the point that I can only hear my subwoofers. I'm not sure if a fuse is blown or the radio itself is just going down the drain. Usually the music cuts when my subs are at a higher volume. The speakers then short out and only are heard when the subwoofers hit a nice *punch*.

the speakers i use are four 6 1/2" pioneer speakers that I've had for about 4 years now. and two 12" kicker cvrs. with a 1000w brutus hifonics amp.
