Ya I got some knu cca wire in my garage and it's wet and damp in there and it's fine looking ... Idk what's wrong with sky high but multi installs here in Michigan the wire is straight corroded, I've seen a few story's online of others having this problem too.

And people be like that only happens if the wire is exposed to moisture... Well duh what do you think happens in your trunk? Or in your truck. The weather changes all the time and it gets humid and damp and there's going to be moisture. Just buy good wire from the get go so you don't have that problem
I've never even had knu cca wire look this bad...

I'm not sure about the car audio wire but the welding wire meets NEC standards. car audio is gennerally overpriced bullshit, welding wire that is used in the industry has ratings/code it must meet and it has to abide by NEC standards for circular mills to be labeled appporatlly.

i know for a fact that the weling cable is good cable. ive used it for years and know plenty of welders that have used there wire(that specific site)

the other site also that was listed by sake is legit as well..

you know CCA is copper coated aluminum correct? i dont suggest aluminum wire and you better make **** sure that if you do you use the correct connectors for aluminum.

tinned copper has about 15% lower ampacity rating. alot of those companies dont have to abide by the NEC standars set in place. They can say its a tinned coating but truth is it could be bronzed with aluminum coating. alot of companies ie cheat and steal to make it. when it comes to electrical ESP the high powered situations find stuff that abides by the NEC standards and meets code. its there for a really good reason. 1 protection 2 reliability.
