Can you run components in bridged mode

Can you hook up a pair of component speakers to a 4-Ch amp in 2-ch bridged mode? Or does it send a mono signal rather than a stereo signal?

yes, you will have to use Y adapters to send the left sound to channels 1&2 and bridge those for the left side, and then split the right sound for channels 3&4 for the right side

or you can bi-amp them depending on what comps they are

That will be entirely dependant on the amp.

Some amps can create a 4ch output with only 2ch input.

O.P. Read your manual and see what it says about connections and running in bridged mode. If it's a 4-ch amp and mentions running in 2-ch bridged mode, possibly just 1 rca in each side, and it's probably labeled.

ah didnt know of that... just know my alpine says you have to use Y's
