I am going to run three small amps for my system. 1 X JBL 180.2@4 ohms, 1 X JBL 150.1@ 2 ohms, and 1 X MTX 4122@ 4 ohms. Can I run the power lead and ground in series or do I need distribution blocks for this? Also can I run the remote lead in series? Thanks

Cajun

use a distro block for the power... for the grounds just run a ground for each one... the remote lead you can do like that

relay is a small switch with a magnet on the end of the switch, and an electromagnet also inside -- you can then use a 12V signal (to the small electromagent) to switch something on/off.

the idea is that the HU's remote lead is made for low current. 3 amps should be ok. but if you wanted to run fans or such from the remote line, you could use a relay. the remote line would attach to the electromagnet and switch on a higher-current 12V line for fans, ect...

other devices also work, but relays work at high currents, and are easy to use, and are self-contained.

really a moto i live by is, if you don't know what you're doing, then don't do it. not being a ass cuz i have to remind myself of this alot. also why isn't your sig in this post but is in the rest?
Well if you never try it. How do you learn?
