Can I run power and ground in series?

Thanks for all the help. I did not know what a relay was right off hand so I asked. After asking I searched the net (excellent tool for learning) and got it straight. Learning things is half the fun ya know. I could not work on cars before installing all the performance parts on my vette. I ended up doing exhaust, headers, nitrous, brakes, and quite a few other things. The point is that anyone with a normal IQ that is willing to read and learn can do most things. It is just a matter of how long it takes. Thanks again
