i need help adjusting my amp...

i have been messing with my amp lately trying to get my subs to sound a little bit better, but now they just have a rattling sound to them. I have the gain adjustment set right in the middle, the bass, is at like +8db, and the lp filter is in the middle. does anyone have any suggestions on makin my subs sound a little cleaner?

the only suggestion i would make is have your bass set to 0 having it where you have it will make the amp clip.

1. Don't just put the gain in the middle. Use the gain setting tutorial on this site.

2. Put the bass to 0db

3. Don't just put the LPF in the middle. This should be around 80hz.
