I have a 1997 or so cadence shockwave power max bass system amp model A7000+HC / made in the USA. I'm look for specs if its 2 ohm or 4 ohm max power i have seen both but it didn't have full model # and year . I got this amp in pieces and got it back together and working . Just need some info. Thanks

Well my guy if you got that amp in parts and pieces and put it all together then you should have the equipment available to answer your own questions. I could make a reference to the engines I build but I don't think you would get it.

Kinda like to see the backplate to see if it has a serial #. The HC should be 1ohm stable. Did you see the model # on the Board?

A quick google search brings up a really old thread on the Termpro forum. The OP there said he looked up the specs and for the A7000+HC, it was rated 700w @ 2ohm mono. The non HC was 4 ohm.

Sounds about right for the model.

Otherwise contact Cadence and see what they say. They were helpful when I contacted them over a decade ago, but that was a while ago.

Well thank you very much I should got the # off the board and I might have .I put this thing together about 2 years ago and just made sure it worked. Now I'm using it and didn't want pull it back out . But I didn't find a lot on Google on this amp found everything on all the ones after lol. Well thank you again.

No problem. Yeah not much info on that amp, I tried the wayback machine but couldn't get to the pages for it. Only info I seen was on the Termpro forum from around 2001. For further info, I would send Cadence an email and see if they have any full specs, they may or may not for an amp that old, but doesn't cost anything to send an email.

I will do that right now so I don't forget. Thanks for helping some people must not understand that we all have off days and the older I get the of them I have lol. But you helped and didn't have to. Some people would rather make bad jokes at the wrong time instead of just saying nothing which that was the info I got was nothing . Hopefully I can return the help some day . Well have a great and Happy holidays and be safe .
