Old man needs Amplifier advice

Hello, I’m a senior citizen with an old car 2003 Honda Element EX. 7 speakers. Since I can’t afford to get a new car I’ve decided to make this car more enjoyable. I just got a kenwood 809s headunit, infinity primus 603 speakers front and rear and a kicker 6.75 subwoofer. What amplifier do you guys recommend? I rather just have one amplifier. I like to stay under $400. Also, I’m getting quotes just to install an amp in my area for $400. Is that right? Anyone in the Vegas area that can help would be greatly appreciated

Didn't a member, on here, have problems with his Recoil amp right out of the box? I believe he said it sounded terrible.
If youre referring to me, thats not accurate....
The overall system sounded good, I just wanted a $700 system to sound like a $7k system....
Its all about expectations.....
I have no idea if it just wasnt to my expectations cuz im use to hearing my K2 Focals all day long, if the CDT's are power hungry, maybe the CDT's dont sound as great as some claim on here so I had them on a pedestal..
im use to a DSP tuned system & this system was not, etc....

But thats a beast of an amp & makes good power, great reviews...

Something that is a must though, 00 - 1/0 gauge wire, if someone does the install other than the OP does the install be certain nobody skips & uses 4 gauge....
May lead to the amp clipping when youre really cranking it & the bass knob is turned up, well atleast clipping per the clip light on the bass knob..

On paper & from some YouTube bench tests, amp does what it claims to do inregards to power output.
I havent found another budget / value 5 channel amp that claims more power than this guy, especially the 5th sub channel.

That being said, doing a bunch more CDT's in the f150 soon but going straight to a dsp tune this go around.
Hopefully I dont regret my decision again...

Thank you for the suggestion and advice. Are there any brands to stay away from? Or brands that work above their price tier?
I've had zero issues with the recoil amps, probably one of the best budget gems out there. The Stinger is also a great amp, less power, more money, not much more ($14.00), but if it's more power than you need, not really an issue.

The recoils are kind of the budget king for 5-channel amps.

Great thank you

I have 3 Precision Power PC1000.5D amps. They work great. They are made is Korea, so they are known to be pretty reliable and clean amps. They are designed to be installed upright, on its edge. The front and rear channels run on a class A/B circuitry, which is known to be cleaner than class-D circuitry. However, you couldn't tell the difference. The sub channel is a class-D circuit. Because of the A/B side, this amp is a bit larger than a full class-D amp.

Any 5ch. Kenwood Amp would be fine, as far as the labor is concern around that 400 is usual, but shop around you may find it just a little cheaper.
