Even interior panels?.. IASCA never called me on it... the door panels, rear deck and headliner were all 100% MDF in my Mazda 626... but the rules HAVE changed since the late 90's...

That probably won't work well.

This is why you make the port really big coming out the gate.

This is how it turned out... I tried to leave enough clearance off the rear of the port and into the box that it can breathe... oh well.. It will get tested tomorrow night...

This was a b*tch using only a skilsaw... it think it turned out OK.

LOL!... I kept the piece that I cut out of the top... so if reducing the port area during testing with inserts does nothing... I can put it back to 68 in2 easily... this IS an experiment and cost me only time... It does look weird I'll admit but I'm trying to put function over aesthetics in this case... hopefully the increase to 86 in2 and retune to +50 hz will make a difference... I WAS advised to test... I figured I'd try out a theory of mine first... we'll see... I'll post results either way tomorrow night... LOL!

Well it's in and no obvious problems... (bottoming or crazy tuning change)... The darned thing is hard to tell if I gained or not... I am not going to go out on a limb and predict a number... but at least I did NOT lose any output... that's for sure... LOL!.. That's where you been... 152.6?.. you are KILLIN' that Blazer... what got you there?... lemme guess... "testing!"... I got high hopes for my experiment... at least I DID NOT lose output... for now I will be quiet and not throw out potential numbers... but it is AT LEAST as loud as it was... LOL!.. either way I'll post what numbers I hit tomorrow evening... the wait is killing me...

I just might monkey on in to the back and gorilla tape the hatch, rear doors and passenger front door as well... I got about 30 minutes on the meter last time... maybe I'll play with seat position and whatever else I can think of... Lithium?.. WOW... that's a little much for the Beater Blazer right now... $$$... did you look at what my box turned into?... LOL!
