Burp box...

If you enjoy it, i say go for it.

Like i said at onset, that modeling software means nothing in spl. You still have plenty of easy gains. I have slightly less power than you, probably better subs.. i just did 151.0 sealed up in testing. Outlaw has now broke 52.0..... and the most retarded **** gains. You know what just gained me my last .2?

Some people are uptight with spl gains, im not..... i foil taped the inside of my box

There was a guy asking about a $500 iPhone charging cable. It's Audioquest, the kings of BS. Sorry but 1s and 0s are going to sound like 1s and 0s. What a scam but this guy really believed he heard a difference. I'm glad I'm not that stupid.
1s and 0s are referred to in programming as code. digital in a realistic sense is two states ON or OFF.

Outlaw... dash was .5 db lower... I originally thought I had left the hatch glass unlatched during the testing as I did find it open the next day... but IDK really, my memory is NOT what it used to be after the medical problems I had... Oh well box comes out today and I'll be up late tonight doing box surgery... creating "Frankenbox"... I'll post some pics when I'm done... LOL!.. the last time I did this it was... MUFUGLY...

Is this box firing backwards in an SUV?

Yeah... I built it without thinking what side to put the port on... Too late now... It's built... LOL!... but I think I can go bigger as far as port area goes...(86 in2) may be where I begin... the tune will change to 50 hz... but the peak is crazy high tho... unfortunately the rolloff is just as steep so this ain't no music box... LOL!

This one has 66 in2... that 86 in2 is gonna' look like a megaphone... LOL!

Yeah... I followed your thread and it WAS quite epic and probably not over...LOL!.
It's not over. I got my 50 out of the trunk, but I'll still be chasing tenths until I tear it out and do the wall. Slight chance I skip the wall and build my tahoe instead. We shall see. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

"as of this year I am DONE spending..."

Famous last words. DB's are kryptonite to my wallet. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

400 pounds of deadener, EQ, time alignment, and those speaker locations.... it's not the amps that made that one sound good.

Guess what comes next? Spoiler alert... it don't come cheap!
Chances are I'll run out of money before I get 60's. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

After I'm done playing IN the trunk, I think I'm going to be somewhat done chasing numbers. 55's in a wall is what I'm wanting, but mostly going for a demo build this time. I'll still compete, but likely won't be quite as obsessed with coming in first. I think. hah

If you take the box, and basically add another box to the back of it without putting the top on that box, I wonder if you'd be louder. So instead of firing against your hatch, you'd be firing into a piece of wood and there would be pieces of wood on either side, so the airflow would be channeled more upwards. That wood would be a more solid loading surface than your hatch too, you'd just push it up all the way against your hatch

I've done thought of that... or at least replacing the gate interior panel with a wood one... or maybe glassing the carpet on the stock interior panel... it's a good idea... LOL!.. I better not though... I don't want to spend any more cash... members here are NOT likely to let me forget those famous last words... "as of this year I am DONE spending..."
