L7. for 2 L7's, go with a pg xenon 1200.1, ed nine.1, orion 1200d, kicker zx1250.1 (see a pattern?). anything that'll put out around 1500 rms @1ohm (or more if you can afford it).well i g2g, i gotta leave in 15 min for work
ill prolly go witht eh 2 12 or 2 15 it doesnt really matter, once i get back from work ill do a little more research on amps, then once i find the right amp ill move on
so far this is my perfect system lmao
2 15 2006 kicker l7
2 12 2006 kicker l7
(btw is l7 better or l5 of the best of each)
Surely you aren't suggesting cone size alone determines how 'tight' the sound is or how good the sq will be. Ive heard some sloppy 8's and some very clean sounding 18's. Enclosure size/type/alignment has much more to do with the over all sound of the system than does the diameter of the cone(s) used.2 15's ported if you want crazy loud spl that'll wang your mom 3 states away.
2 12's if you want to keep some of the tight sq
i wasn't going on cone size alone. yes alot of other things factor in as well. it was just a generalization. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifSurely you aren't suggesting cone size alone determines how 'tight' the sound is or how good the sq will be. People keep trying to categorize things neatly and easily, like 12's are tighter than 15's, 18's are sloppy or only good for rap, etc etc. The truth is the situation is so much more complicated than that. Even the issues I mention still over simplify the situation in reality.
