The Drunken Snowman
There comes a time in a young mans life, when he realizes that he must express himself in one of two ways. He can either:
A) Wear makeup, cut himself, cry and write songs about what a loser he is
- or -
B) Piss everyone around him off, hailing the term "whippersnapper" from the older community.
It is time for me to B) myself //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.
With that in mind, I need to pick a sub. Now, before we get all crazy-like, I'd like to put in your minds *exactly* what I want. I want good SQ, with enough SPL to... be noticed more or less. I will be a daily driver with this setup. What I want right now willl probably NOT what I will be upgrading to in the future... so what I choose right now does not necessarily have to mesh in with any future endeavors. With that in mind, the power that I'm after now does NOT have to be my end-all-say-all, nor does it have to work along side my future end-all-say-all. Also, for now I'm probably looking for 1 sub.
Ok.. Now it's time for the choices:
Sound Splinter RL-p 12"

IDMAX12D4

RE SX 12"

RE MX 12"
Can't find stats on the net, but when I talked to the guy at RE, he said:
1500 rms
88db sensi
22mm xmax
RE XXX 12" OLDSCHOOL
I can't justify spending 650 on 1 sub quite yet...

I am open to new sub options, and I welcome any and all amp suggestions for any or all of these. Money is kind of, but not really an issue. It's not an issue in the sense that I want great subs, but it is an issue in the sense that I'm not dropping an extra $150-$200 per sub because the name on it is JL
