Good looking panels MikeyB.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif
Thanks man!

doors look great

ever thought about sealing the mids inside the door panel?

it'd make the midbass response even better.
Thanks, yeah that was my original plan. I was gonna glass sealed chambers inside the doors for just a single set of mids. But then after thinking about it I decided to just do it this way and add an extra set, then wire them down for some more powas!

Im very pleased soo far, I need some more deadener BAD though. The whole interior and the doors are making lots of unwanted noise:crap:

Hey Jay, if you read this chime in for me. Im lookin for some advice/tips on making the pods in my a-pillars for my tweeters. I was going to use a fiberglass approach but since the a-pillar is all ABS im wondering how I can go about doing it without having any adhesion issues.
Never really had a chance to work with ABS. I'd probably use fiberglass, just because I'm familiar with it. I've seen people drill a bunch of holes in the panels and glass both sides, so they bond..or maybe make a single layer fiberglass mold of the panel, then make your pods w/ Ponte or Grille Cloth and glass/filler, then use some 4040 to blend the edges like you did on the doors. That's probably the best thing I could think of.

Jay

Yeah thats what I was gonna end up doing, then I noticed the tweeter pods would work out so I think Im gonna leave it for now. Once I wrap the doors and a-pillars Im gonna put some small bolts in to hold the tweets rather than the screws I used.

I got it just for its price, and its o-kay, definitely not the best stuff out there. Doesnt seem to dampen quite as well as some of the other stuff Ive used, it doesnt like to stick sometimes, and its a mess trying to take any off anywhere, plus it was stinky for a while when I first put it in.

Good things.....once you actually get it on right, it aint comin off. Just hard to get it on sometimes, gotta make sure you clean the surface well and maybe use some spray adhesive if any falls off.

Raamats good stuff though, good price, dampens well, and it never has a problem adhereing.

Ill buy another roll of Fatmat, then once I get crazy Ill probably get a roll of Raamat.

Well I placed an order from Knu for most of the stuff I should need to finish this project. Only other thing I need is two sheets of wood and then the vinyl.

Got me lots of different size wire, fuse, batt terminals and what not.

Hopefully have the front stage playing by the weekend or over the weekend, all depends on when I get my stuff in from Knu. All I really need at this point to have something temp is a fuse. Knu is always amazing with shipping though, I wouldnt doubt it if I get everything by tomorrow or the day after.

Shit dood, those doors look good! I haven't peeped the vids yet (at work), but looks very loud! Should be proud of the setup!

Not bad for my first set of door panels //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Scope the vids when you get a chance, I love how these things look with the positioning while they are playing, CF cones FTW! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
