alrighty, i ran out of primer so ill take a break for it to dry up and post some pics.

a whole lot got done today. The amp rack is painted and drying, the box is awaiting paint, exhaust system and air intake went on, the old box was destroyed and ripped out.

Pretty much all thats left now is to get the box and subs in, reorganize all the wiring, then i just have to wait for the sub amp to arrive (which should be Tuesday)

when i first starting applying the primer:

ripping out the old box. The jigsaw and sawsall came in handy here!

it takes up most of the space. The bed is 50" wide, and the box is 49.5" wide. Once its in, i'll most likely put in shim boards on the sides and push them up to the cab to seal that spot. I'll also run a bead of silicone along the top of the box to seal it into the cab.

update! the box is in, and it looks **** good. Getting it in was a close call tho, we had to take the tailgate off (its slightly raised) and put the box in at a downward angle in order to squeeze it in there. I still have a good two and a half feet of bed room behind the box too, which is a bonus.

now, i just gotta get the amp rack in tonight and everything is good to go, minus the missing amp. Its dark, so i'll get some good pics up tomorrow!
