I understand this. I honestly think that I could tune my system pretty well though by ear. Not to toot my own horn, but I have a great ear for detail, as I've been playing guitar all my life, as well as trumpet, piano, and being part of an eastern conference winning choir... I really like music. Now, maybe I don't have experience like they do, but unless a tuner could tailor it to what my ear wants, I'd rather do it alone.
I am, however, open to all suggestions as far as equipment and installation methods. I'm trying to relay to you guys, who know more than me about this equipment, what I am looking for so that you guys can steer me into the right direction.
I love midbass. I love crisp, clear highs that project from the front, with a clear ambient mid/low combination behind it, but I want the ability to have that, but still at higher volumes as well. The single sub will simply fill in the low that is lacking from the speakers. I feel like I've thought it out and tailored it close to what I want, but I don't know components or, "the best ways to mount this," or, "be sure that you do this," or even, "the speakers you've chosen are all wrong, here's some suggestions."
Thank you for the reply. I just need guidance, as I haven't been much of a car audio guy until the past 6-10 months.
