Got a freind who’s wanting a loaded enclosure budget around 1000-1500w
(loaded for install simplicity)

Can be 1 or 2 12s.
≈600$
1000-1500w rms (stock elec.)

He was wanting the 2 skar SDR but im trying to put him in a better direction but
Im not sure I really kno would be timpano 2500s or skar EVLs

Was thinking a d4s jp 1200 or 1500 amp

You could do a Dayton Ultimax II Single 12" for 200.00 and build your own custom enclosure for 100.00..

I don't funk with loaded enclosures or Skarbage.
Yes I agree that would be better and cost effective but this is just a regular person who wants to bump. First install is going to b enough for him diy wise tbh lol, that’s why he’s wanting a loaded enclosure and I get it I was there once. Preciate the 2 cents tho

I would recommend this box. Each sub has an SD of 645.17 and an Xmax of 17.5. That a VD of 2,258 cubic cm. That's a lot of air getting pushed.

Oh ok ay that looks like solid prefab setup but wait it’s wired to 2 ohm, what would be a good amp to pair it with I was initially thinking a d4s jp not sure how good there one amp is that delivers same power at 1+2ohms

The JP 1500 would be a great amp for this. Here's another amp you can look at.

That Kicker box is 1200 watts RMS and is 2ohms. So, you will have to keep that in mind when looking at an amp.

Both of those dual 12's would have more displacement over a single evil and I'd choose 2 12's over 1.
No right right those 2 would def outperform a single evl I agree but I was saying 2 against 2 even with the evls under powered but i understand it’s best to match power atleast abt 70% of speaker rms/amp rms so i came here for another route

Right rhat 2 ohm threw me off but ok bet that do 1300 at 2. Just a 4gauge from sky high will be fine right

I'd still run either of those 2 over a set that's under powered. The set on the right power will have have more excursion than the under powered set...and bass is all about air movement
