Breaking in a Sub

I read that Obsidian Audio subs are pretty much broken in before they're sold. Is this true or do I still need to take it easy on the sub for a while? if yes, how long should I be easy on it?

That is simple propaganda produced by companies to help with warranty issues.

I always break mine in for like 5-10 minutes then I get impatient and crank it up. I have always been fine.

I did a little something at the last show. I have a few things in store. They won't be don't til the september show though. It should be a little louder at this show though just from being played

I don't mean wangin with a hard on, just wangin in general... I should have been clearer. I always break in my high end headphones and after a while they come to life.
