Breaking in a NEW sub

ok lets do this, when you get your sub turn it up all the way.. lol my friend did that for his alpine type-r's and he blew 2 12" but luckly he got it replaced since the people over there didt tell him to break in his sub

That could happen with any sub. What did he turn up all the way? Deck? Gain? Either one could fvck up a sub.

Break in? As some said above, just put it in on low volume, to make sure everything is hooked up right, then turn it up to normal listening levels and adjust gains, and just let it roll.
