go to a different shop!! DIY! DIY! DIY! just hang out here and read for like 3 weeks everyday and ask lots of questions
Installer is a ****ign tool piece of shiiit idiot, tell him I said that.
You would be better off at best buy - everything you wrote including the $200 battery isolator just screams RIP OFF..
Drive another half hour if you have to this installer is certifiably a retard and is only gonna mess your shit up and guess what? he doesn't care! because your dumass will just buy more from him.
Also the actual wiring is done really shittily he solders shitty and he terminates wire ends shittily - just wait till one of those loose wires from your two positives touches!!! then you will be buying anew amp from this *******.. Power wire being loose this shop sucks!!!!
good to know ! but still diss-heartening that my installer would not even show me what they where running at infront of me, and when i asked what ohms they where running at he responded with "i dont know"You can't tell what ohm the subs were wired to by looking at the amp. Even if they were wired to 4 ohms instead of 1 ohm it would not have damaged anything.
Buy that dmm everyone's been talking about. You'll find tons of uses for it.good to know ! but still diss-heartening that my installer would not even show me what they where running at infront of me, and when i asked what ohms they where running at he responded with "i dont know"
i cant wait to get my new subwoofers, i am going to a differant place to get them installed this time i am deffinatly going to make sure i get quality work.
stay tunned guys ! i will try to put it on a metre to see what levels it can hit !
any predictions ?
apparently they are hand-made now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif i hooked them up 1 at a time, 1 of them was louder than both of my MA audio XE 18''s.I thought the SX was made in China these days along with the RE and SE series. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

but the parts are made in china. It's ok, everyone does it. We all just hate the lofty "made in the usa" associations that companies make all the time.Sorry to hear that you were misinformed about where the products are manufactured. We still design and hand build our products here in the USA.
x3Just run the batteries in parallel and fuse correctly between the batteries. You have an HO alt?
I resemble that remarki ordered from RE audio's website, the canadian version and have been dealing with

he is great, they custom build their subs to your specs i needed D4's for my amp to achive a 1ohm setup for both of them, they do D2's And D4's and build all the subwoofers by hand, i recommend them to anybody for sure just on customer service alone.
Expect to have a video journal of theaes subwoofers being taken out of the crates, installed and tested with a meter to see what they hit ! I have a completely custom built fibreglass box, thease things are going to hammer like Thor! thank god for a giant trunk //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif pictures/video will be up ASAP //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif also the review of the new drivers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I resemble that remarkNice upgrade. wiring them in is a piece of cake no need for an installer. Just hook both negs on ea. sub together and both positives together and hook into amp. Pos to pos neg to neg. That will give your new subs a 1 ohm load.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
So you are saying none of your speaker lines are assembled in China? Everyone gets parts from China these dys, that is not what Im referring to. I was under the impression the newest SE and SX models, with the small logo at the bottom of the cone, was now being assembled in China.Sorry to hear that you were misinformed about where the products are manufactured. We still design and hand build our products here in the USA.
SX, MX, MT and XXX are all US made.. the SE series is china made. mostly of the raw materials used in all well knowned subwoofer comes from china...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifSo you are saying none of your speaker lines are assembled in China? I know most manufcturers at least get parts from China. I said as much in my previous reply. What I dont get is, if they DO make/assemble the SE in China, why did I get a sarcastic reply from an RE/US Amps dealer saying I was misinformed and they design/build their products by hand in the USA.SX, MX, MT and XXX are all US made.. the SE series is china made. mostly of the raw materials used in all well knowned subwoofer comes from china...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
