boss ripper series

i understand that boss isn't the most quality brand around, but i've heard decent things about their ripper series. i was thinking about getting their rip-695 to power my kicker solobaric (10" 450w rms 900w peak.) anybody have a ripper, or is their something better for me? all i have to power is this one sub and i have around $200 to play around with.

i used to own a boss amp. bought it for 20 bucks and then sold it few months later and the thing blew up. so its not the highest quality stuff.

Listen to Jmac. Hes the man. Helped me with the amps i have now and i am more then satisfied with my setup. He knows his shit. He knows his share of shit and then some.

Have you looked at the JBL 600.1 or 1200.1. They are priced to sell and IMO is much better than the boss.

Boss, Pyle, Pyramid, and Legacy are all brands that have failed to produce a single quality product in Car Audio. Avoid them, no matter what you have "heard".
