BOSS amps owners?

to ronjon, don't tell people it will sound better b/c it's cleaner. unless the boss puts out ohhh 10% thd which i've only heard of 1 amp ever doing that unless clipped, it won't sound better. subs distort more than you think and that's any sub really, depending on user and install you can help that. Sq is merely subjective but facts are facts. now the underpowering causing the sub to blow you are 1/2 right. yes the distorted signal sent if the amp clips can cause the voice coil on the sub to fry therefore blowing the sub, underpowering if the amp is setup correctly can never and i repeat never blow a sub. it's like saying "you driving that ferrari at 60 is going to ruin the engine man." now if you clip a signal playing volume master with the gain nob, then yes kiss the sub goodbye even with 500 watts clipped to a 3000w rms sub. anyway ronjon you are 1/2 correct in the long run in your post just thought i'd clear up for anyone else reading if they wanted to know.

Do a search on that Boss amp, its been asked before. If Im not mistaken that Boss amp has the same or similar board as the Lanzar 1200d and has been tested to put 1200w. However, your mainc concern should be build quality. How long will the amp last you. You get what you pay for. Its an inexpensive amp that will push your subs but you dont know it will push for a few days or a yr.
