I feel like im talking to myself but I keep reading the forums? would the amp i listed above go with a 12" Kicker XPL 4ohm sub woofer? come on anyone LEAVE tips im desperate

depending on the subs, for the price you could go with coustic, profile. If you want to get real lazy try a vibe, many people hate this amp, but it's a well built amp.

look for a 4 channel amp, then use 2 channels for your front speakers, and bridge the reminaing two for your subs.
here are 3 setups

zx6400 (hifonics) = onlinecarstereo.com

85x4 120x4 350x2 so u can do = 85x2+350x1 (alpine type r comps & 1 shiva)

orion 8004 = onlinecarstereo.com

100x4 200x4 400x2 so u can do 100x2+400x1

(cdts comps & 2 diamond audio m3's 12s)

x603 =sounddomain.com

75x2+ 300x1

(crystal comp's & 1 12jlw3v2d2)

Hey man, got a great deal for ya.

http://forums.caraudio.com/vb/showthread.php?t=53051

check that out, MUCH better than that kenwood. Great amp will give 450watts rms to any sub @2ohms. Really great deal, got references if needed. All you would need then is some front speakers, sub, and speaker amp.

check out:

speakers: front go with 6.5" coaxials for ur budget.. http://www.thezeb.com cdt-cl6x's

sub: one 12" eD Kx http://www.edesignaudio.com dual 2ohm

sub amp: the one in thread

speaker amp: us acoustics usx2050 http://www.thezeb.com

box: http://www.gnomeaudio.com Get Donn to build you a custom box about 2 cubes ported @30hz that thing will be wangin.

there you go, nice system for cheap

Wiring kit: Scosche EFX two amp 4 guage wiring kit form Walmart

Well rounded system for under $400. Includes everything u need. peace

where'd this guy go? he's all wet for an answer right away, and now he doesn't post... oh well. i'm gonna do what most folks do and suggest what i have, 'cause that's what most of my experience is based on:

Profile amp, run in tri-mode (2 front speakers, and a sub bridged on the other 2 channels). then get an Alpine, or Fusion, or Elemental Designs sub. maybe 1 12" would be okay. then some Wal Mart wiring, a couple CDTs from thezeb.com, and "Safety Dance" on cd.. you're all set.

2400w x 4 peak and 120w rms x 4. That has to be world record dynamic right there 🤣.

So I don't know what i'm doing but I really like the used H-KO but when i look at the specs it looks like it could overpower the sub if I'm...

Oh come on! Why'd you have to go and tell me the price? Now I'ma start eyeballing them.

Recoil 2500.1 $179 2500 x 1 @ 1 ohm. Make sure subs are the dual 4 ohm version. If you don't want that much power, get the Recoil red1200.1 for 1...

Have an Xli 2500 as a sub amp in the music room, overkill for sure, never overheats, never skips a beat.
