K5James and guys I have a GMC 1993 F/S ext/cab well my back speakers are 4X6 and I have replaced them already but again they sound busted well what I want to do is remove the 4X6 speakers and install some old New stock Cherwin Vega IT 693 6X9 speakers but I’m thinking will they sound better in gray boxes that are available for them or should I place them where the stock 4X6 speakers are and I was thinking of pushing them with a amp or should I just push them with my Alpine HU which is just 18 watts my front ones sound loud enough with just the Alpine?

Hey i still use 6x9 speakers in my car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif and they do a good job and sound great. I bought them really cheap ohh and it's a pair from Rockford //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif, i always use speakers from Rockford.
