I'm just gonna stay with my original plan of 4 Incriminator Audio I Series 8" subs. They're rated for 300W a piece but they will/should be fine on 400W.
Or 4 of the AB xd8's. If you're enjoying your xfl you'll enjoy those 8's as well.

They're in the competition line, I feel like they wouldn't have as great of SQ and to be honest are pretty ugly.

Wrong. The comp 8 is the vfl8 the xd8 is the black cone one and not the competition line.
typical basshead, buy the sub you want and give a reason its not really for me lol. I am also interested on this, what wattage amp will you be running with these?
The only one on their website is the vfl8 which is the ugly yellow one, I'll look into the xd8 though!
Looks like a good sub but that's more than I want to spend. Most I'd want to spend per sub is $125
Unfortunately you can't please everyone, the price matching issue was addressed - and actually before the thread was seen by me. In terms of customer service I'd tend to disagree, our ratings are relatively top notch and typically the few glitches we have are because people are being unreasonable, rating product instead of us, or non-responsive (they have an issue and instead of reaching out leave bad ratings and don't respond when we attempt to contact them.
Massive Neo8 is impressive itself. If you can up that budget to $140 per the Massive Hippo8 is very appealing.
